Theatres in India still remain closed because of the increasing threat of Covid-19 in the country. Bollywood at large is also suffering mounting losses as shoots are yet to resume. Amidst the shutdown, some good news has trickled in from New Zealand. The island country has opened its theaters and the first Bollywood film to re-release is ‘Golmaal Again’. Excited about the news, director Rohit Shetty says, “New Zealand has decided to re-release ‘Golmaal Again’ in theatres, making it the first Hindi film to get a relaunch post Covid-19. New Zealand is now Covid-19-free and is opening its theatres on 25th June with ‘Golmaal Again’.” Though the filmmakers back in India are still bracing to resume shoots, theatres are not expected to open anytime soon. Shetty, hence, rightly concluded with, “The show must go on…”
