Malaika Arora Khan, who turned producer with the ‘Dabangg’ series, is of the opinion that Bollywood is now taking up a lot of important subjects in its films. From films like ‘No One Killed Jessica’ to ‘Talvar’, Bollywood filmmakers are making movies on a lot of vital subjects. Malaika opined, “I don’t think Bollywood is shying away. If there is an opportunity and if there is a platform to address the issue, I am sure they will. Bollywood doesn’t shy away from meaningful cinema anymore. In today’s day and age, it is a director’s world right now. If filmmakers feel that if there is a topic to which they can do justice to, they sure will do it.”
