Salman Khan can now heave a sigh of relief. The Bombay High Court has acquitted the star on all accounts from the 13-year-old hit-and-run case in which one person had died and four injured. It is said that some celebrities, close friends, well-wishers and near-and-dear ones visited Salman on Wednesday and Thursday but things were kept low key, keeping in mind the last time’s brouhaha and facing flak from public and the media alike for making a big fuss about it. While Sallu’s father Salim Khan too left for the High Court, a straight-faced Salman looked a bit dapper travelling to the court as accused in the hit-and-run case. Sallu’s passport will be returned which the actor was asked to surrender.
