This comedy drama features Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in what has already become a modern classic since its release in 2019. From the very start we are met with laughs as the film highlights the lives of two married couple who are undergoing vitro fertilisation (IVF). Providing a light-hearted yet poignant angle on the subject, the film provides plenty of feel-good moments and subplots that will have you in stitches as you are taken on the journey of their respective pregnancies.
Action Replayy
As one of the leads in this film, Akshay Kumar plays the husband of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who made her long-awaited return to the silver screen, as a parent whose marriage is almost at its end following an argument. The story follows that of a young boy who tries to revive his parents’ marriage by embarking on a time travelling journey where he sees how they fell in love all those years ago. However, things do not go as straight forward as planned!

Now this is a throwback! Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (Will You marry Me?) builds on the fantastic chemistry of Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan as we see two men fight for the heart of one woman.
Playing the wild character of Sameed Malhotra, Akshay Kumar finds himself unlucky in love after his girlfriend breaks up with him. He takes the job of a lifeguard where he soon falls in love with Chopra’s character, Rani. Despite his best efforts he can’t help but to mess up along the way leaving the audience on an emotional rollercoaster. Does Sameed get the girl? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
Namastey London
Also starring the late Rishi Kapoor, the film shows the story of an Indian girl who is raised in London who is forced to marry a boy from India, Arjun (Akshay Kumar). However, the marriage is not recognised back in the UK and she announces she will may an English man named Charlie Brown. However, things do not go as planned and the pair are soon reunited following much drama and tension. Whilst this movie may hit more emotional chords, it still provides plenty of moments of comic relief by the end!
