Madhur Bhandarkar and his movies are known to be realistic and hard hitting. The filmmaker explained his favourite genre, “There are a lot of filmmakers who have a certain stamp value. Mine has been that of realism and glamour. Be it ‘Heroine’ or ‘Page 3’, I have a comfort level in showing all that to the world. Each story is different. My next, ‘Calendar Girls’ is a subject of newcomers.” ‘Calendar Girls’ is a glamorous tale of what happens to the models, especially after tasting success, in the span of one year. The film will clash with Kapil Sharma’s big screen debut ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’. Not worried about competition, the director said, “We want all the films to work, because more the amount of money that comes in the industry, it is good for us only.”
