Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) successfully organized its very first director’s master class session called ‘Meet The Director’ with master director Aanand L. Rai and moderated by renowned film maker Sudhir Mishra on Sunday, 4th October at Carnival Cinemas– the Multiplex Partner of Meet The Director.
Aanand L. Rai presented a memento to Saurabh Saxena, Chief Operating Officer of Carnival Cinemas for supporting this initiative. Also present on this occasion were directors Rahul Rawail, John Matthew Matthan, B.P. Singh, Ashoke Pandit, Saurabh Varma, Ashwini Chaudhary to name a few.
The very first session was a packed house filled with aspiring film makers, students of direction, acting and script writing amongst many others.
Aanand L. Rai shared his inspiration of being a film maker, journey from TV direction to film direction and experience of making Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
