Even before ‘Sarbjit’ hit the screens, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav announced the film as tax free. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seems deeply touched by the gesture and hopes that several other states will follow suit so that the message of ‘Sarbjit’ reaches one and all. “Heartfelt thanks to UP CM for this gesture. We will continue our efforts to make the film tax free and are hoping for the same in other states as well. For now we are thankful to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for giving us the tax free run. It means that this film will reach far and wide and it means a lot for us,” says the actress who recently returned from a hectic schedule at Cannes Film Festival.
