Celebrating the magic of Indian Cinema, the 18th edition of IIFA witnessed a spectacular 72 hours extravaganza from the 13th – 15th July 2017 in the host city of New York.
The star-studded IIFA Weekend And Awards was filled with splendour and revelry as it inaugurated its festivities by ringing in the Nasdaq stock exchange bell at Times Square, followed by a string of events and unique associations such as IIFA Stomp, Shuruaat Gala Dinner IIFA Societal Innovation Summit in association with tGELF, The FICCI- IIFA Global Business Forum 2017, the spectacular IIFA Rocks and the one and only, IIFA Awards.
Following the tremendous success of The 18th Edition Of IIFA Weekend and Awards, to celebrate this journey, a special screening of The best of IIFA was hosted with the Mubarakan stars cast, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty and Ileana D’ Cruz in Dubai on 30th July, 2017.

Mubarakan is winning hearts of all families worldwide. While some films these days target a niche audience, Director Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan is touted to cater to one and all. The film, said to be squeaky clean with no double-meaning dialogues and intimate scenes, is a family entertainer, which everyone can watch together.
Anees Bazmee is known to bring all families to the theatres and with Mubarakan he wants people to come in being numbers for the biggest family entertainer of the year. The film will make you laugh but also has an emotional take on family relations. The recently released film has garnered great reviews everywhere and has been called the cleanest comedy in a long time. This family entertainer has started going housefull over the weekend drawing all families to the theatres. The comic caper, which has real-life chacha-bhatija Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor teaming up for the l first time, has also got a go a thumbs up from the Censor Board. Apart from Anil’s witty one-liners and Arjun’s dhamakedaar double role, the movie also features t fun-filled performances by Athiya Shetty and Ileana D’Cruz.

I have worked with Anil in so many movies, but his character of Kartar Singh will not only make people laugh, but also make them cry.
