Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan bag Best Film trophy for Hindi Medium, while Vidya Balan gets Best Actor (Female) for Tumhari Sulu and Irrfan Khan wins Best Actor (Male) for Hindi Medium
The 63rd Filmfare Awards proved to be a night of high glitz, glamour and achievement. T-Series films Tumhari Sulu and Hindi Medium
achieved the remarkable feat of taking home three top film awards.
Hindi Medium, bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Film. A quirky social comment on the education system, Hindi Medium was jointly produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Maddock Films’ Dinesh Vijan.
T-Series had more reason to feel elated when Vidya Balan won the Best Actor (Female) Award for Tumhari Sulu, jointly produced by T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment. Jagga Jasoos, which won Best Music Album was also released under the T-Series music label.
