Yesterday, Salman Khan was sentenced to five years imprisonment by Jodhpur Court under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, announcing the verdict in the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case. Sallu’s battery of lawyers immediately filed bail plea at the sessions court, but the verdict is deferred till tomorrow, Saturday. The sessions court judge Ravinder Kumar Joshi has reportedly asked for records from Rural Court and High Court. Hence Salman will have to spend another night in jail. The actor is supported by sisters Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan Sharma who are put up in Jodhpur. Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala is also traveling to Jodhpur with Salman’s brothers Arbaaz and Sohail.
