Fashion Parade took glamour to new heights as Mustang Productions debuted their flagship event in New York City. Presenting with Citi as it’s headline sponsor and partnering with The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), the event showcased fashion by six renowned South Asian designers and highlights from Christie’s upcoming auction of South Asian Modern and Contemporary Art.
Creative director Sadia Siddiqui created Fashion Parade in 2013, a venture showcasing to the Western world the beauty and craftsmanship of Pakistani and Indian fashion. Fashion Parade aims to provide a global platform to South Asian designers and create opportunities to bridge the gap between East and West. In its fifth year of showing and for the first time in the United States, Fashion Parade presents four designers from Pakistan and two designers from India: Faiza Samee, Ali Xeeshan, Delhi Vintage Co., Elan by Khadijah Shah, Rabani and Rakha by Raaz, and Kamiar Rokni.
The Fashion Parade spring / summer 2020 show took place on Tuesday August 27th at Christie’s in New York City and was attended by notable VIP’s including Dorinda Medley (The real Housewives of New York City), Evan Betts (So Cosmo), Sophie Summer (America’s Next Top Model), Ashley Haas (Model) and Palak Patel (Celebrity Chef).
