International superstar Akshay Kumar has continued to show his support for Mumbai’s Police Force by donating them 1,000 wrist bands which help detect Covid-19 symptoms.
This latest inspiring act by the Sooryavanshi star, saw him come forward once again as a leading figure for others during these difficult times. The wrist bands will be instrumental in helping save the lives of police officers who are currently on the frontline in the city helping keep people safe.
The wristbands will see the Mumbai Police Force become the first organisation in the world enabled to remotely track and manage the health of its personnel with this health platform.
This generous donation from Akshay Kumar is just one of the many acknowledgements and tributes the star has paid to the police for their efforts. This included paying respects to the police officers who have so far died on duty during the coronavirus, donating Rs 2 crore to Mumbai Police while he also changed his twitter display picture to the Maharashtra Police logo to recognise their relentless efforts.
