After the not so encouraging response to ‘Dhaakad’, Kangana Ranaut has quickly moved on to preparing for her next, ‘Emergency’. The film talks about the Emergency phase of India in the 1970s under the leadership of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Interestingly, the film is helmed by Kangana herself who is making her 2nd directorial after ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’. Posting a few pictures marking the beginning of ‘Emergency’ on Instagram, Kangana wrote, “Recce Day One. Don’t mess with me is my resting pose. Of all the roles I play I am most comfortable in being is a filmmaker. #Emergency,” decked in a very soothing and comfortable white salwar-kurta with a green dupatta to go with it. Kangana had declared ‘Emergency’ last year but pending work on her other films kept her busy.
