On the one hand where the recently-released ‘Pathaan’ is breaking records every day, his past classic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (‘DDLJ’) will have a wider theatrical release on the other. What could be termed as the best for SRK’s fans this Valentine’s Day, Rohan Malhotra, Vice President, Distribution, Yash Raj Films, says, “‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, the longest running film in the history of cinema, has become synonymous to romance for India and Indians since its historic release. We are constantly requested by the audience and fans for a wider showcasing of the film so that they can watch this milestone-setting film with their friends and family in theatres over and over again! This year, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, we are making their wish come true. ‘DDLJ’ will be screened across India, starting February 10, for a period of one week only!” Although released 28 years ago, the romantic film is still etched in the memories of all Bollywood fans.
