68th Filmfare Awards 2023 Winners

One of the most prestigious and oldest Filmfare Awards concluded with ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Badhaai Do’ bagging many trophies. ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ bagged the Best Film Award and Alia Bhatt took home the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) trophy for the same film. If this was not enough, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was bestowed upon the Best Director Award and Prakash Kapadia and Utkarshini Vashishtha won the Best Dialogue for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. On the other hand, ‘Badhaai Do’ won Best Film (Critics’ Choice), Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male – Rajkummar Rao), Best Actress (Critics’ Choice – Bhumi Pednekar, shared with Tabu for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’) and even Best Story, among others. Music awards like Best Music Album, Best Lyrics and Best Playback Singer (Male) went to ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’.
