Deepika Padukone is a regular at the Siddhivinayak Temple before every big film release. Now with the oncoming festival of Lord Ganesha, Deepika plans to spend it with her family. “For our family, Ganpati and Diwali are the two main festivals. We don’t bring the idol home but that is obviously celebration time. Either my parents come down or I go to Bangalore (Bengaluru) and we spend the two days together, of Ganpati and Gauri but in a very simple and quiet way.” Having born in a Konkani-speaking household, Ganesh Festival has always had a special place in Deepika’s heart.
