Ajay Devgn made headlines when it was revealed that he was getting back into the director chair for ‘Mayday’. While the title is a call for aircrafts in distress, Ajay’s signal to his peers was clear, he was seriously taking charge as the man behind the camera as well playing a role on screen. Ajay has flown off to Russia for a recce along with some of his co-pilots. The crew is expected to be stationed at Moscow for about a week scouting for locations. Cinematographer Aseem Bajaj, line producer Vikrant Sharma, first Assistant Director (AD) Sameer Sadwani and director’s assistant Daanish Gandhi were supposed to shoot the concluding schedule in Doha, but decided to move to Moscow due to the pandemic. ‘Mayday’ stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh apart from Ajay Devgn himself.
