Ajay Devgn received a roaring applause for his cop avatar in ‘Singham’. Taking his love for uniforms a step ahead, the actor has been signed up to play a heroic squadron leader in his next. He will play the lead in ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, which is based on the squadron leader Vijay Karnik’s brave act during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Karnik and his team, with the help of local women, had reconstructed the destroyed airstrip belonging to the Indian Air Force (IAF) at Bhuj near the India-Pakistan border. The war veteran feels that Ajay is the apt actor to portray him on screen. The film will be written and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya.
