Alia Bhatt recently had a close call when boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali tested positive for Covid-19. Ranbir is also her co-star in Brahmastra, whereas Bhansali is directing the actress in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. Having worked closely with both men, it was only obvious that Alia may have contracted the virus and she promptly self quarantined. The isolation is now over and she’s ready to get back to work. Alia, who returned on the sets, said, “I’ve been reading all your messages of love and concern. I have tested negative for Covid-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today.” She also extended the courtesy of acknowledging the messages she received. “Thank you for all your good wishes! I’m taking care and staying safe. You please do the same. Love to you all,” she added. Alia turns 28 on March 15ht, but the birthday celebrations look subdued given the pandemic.
