One film making the news other than regular Bollywood ‘masala’ flicks is director Shankar’s Tamil romantic thriller ‘I’. The film stars Vikram and Amy Jackson. Vikram has two roles in the film, one that of a normal man and the other of a creature which is a man-like monster on the lines of Ogre. It is said that his makeup took five hours every day to get the look right. Makeup artists from Weta Workshop were specially flown down from abroad to help Vikram get into the skin of the character in literal sense. Weta is credited to provide its services in several Hollywood films like ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of The Rings’.
As for ‘I’, the film is also dubbed in Hindi and is scheduled to release this month with AR Rahman composing its music.
