The Censor Board is currently receiving a lot of flak for its policies for banning words and scenes. Anupam Kher, who has previously been a part of the system feels that a change can be implemented. He said, “I have been the Censor Board chief and I know that the rule book is very outdated and it needs to be changed. So Pahlaj Nihalani can say that this is what the rule says, but he can use his own common sense and discretion. He can say that we are living in the 21st century and can’t make fool out of ourselves in the process of telling the world what to see and what not to.”
