Akshay Kumar has not had seen much success as a solo star at the box office in recent times. His last few releases, ‘Bachchhan Paandey’, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Cuttputlli’ and ‘Ram Setu’ were clustered together on OTT and the box office. Each of these didn’t live up to the mark as they received a lukewarm response. Respecting the wishes of his fans, Akki has now decided to release his much-anticipated film, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ after a long gap at the box office. His last release, ‘Mission Raniganj’, which also under performed at the box office arrived in October of this year. Giving a healthy space of six months, the Akshay and Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ will now hit the screens in April 2024 coinciding with Eid. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ also features the multitalented Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran in a pivotal role.
