Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji were shooting for ‘Brahmastra’ since about half a decade. After slogging before and after the pandemic for marathon shoot, Team ‘Brahmastra’ has finally finished shooting. Excited Ayan says, “And finally… it’s a wrap! Five years since we took our first shot on ‘Brahmastra’, and we’ve finally filmed our last one! Absolutely incredible, challenging and once-in-a-lifetime journey! Some hand of destiny that we finished the shoot of ‘Brahmastra: Part One: Shiva’ in Varanasi – a city infused with the spirit of Shiv Bhagwaan, and that too at the most sacred Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, allowing us to finish in an atmosphere of purity, joy and blessings.” Alia too is super-charged about the superhero film when she feels “exciting days ahead”. Part one of ‘Brahmastra’ is slated to release on September 9th this year.
