Deepika Padukone will start 2020 on an inspiring note as her film ‘Chhapaak’ will hit the screens on January 10. The film narrates the story of acid attack survivor Laxshmi Agarwal. It is cleared by the Censor Board for Film Certification (CBFC) with a ‘U’ rating. The Meghna Gulzar directorial has been cleared without any cuts or objections. The film was ready a month before its release and the makers reportedly got the certificate on December 6. The Censor Board was reportedly impressed with the film and wanted all age groups to watch it. Deepika has turned producer with ‘Chhapaak’ and co-stars Vikrant Massey as her romantic interest.
