Arvind Swamy in films like ‘Roja’ and ‘Bombay’ came across as a promising hero. However, he suddenly disappeared from the industry with his last film being ‘Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya’ in 2000. “I had quit films because I wanted to do other things. I had started off at an early age, at 21 I did ‘Roja’. I did not want to get caught in one profession, films is not the only thing I want to do in my life,” says Arvind Swamy.
While he was away from the glamour world, Arvind indulged in many things. “I also wanted to be a full time parent and balance my time with my kids. So for about 10 years my primary thing was my kids. Also I play a lot of video games online so lot of my time goes in that as well,” says the actor. After a gap of almost 15 years, Arvind Swamy is making a comeback in Bollywood with ‘Dear Dad’.
