Creating a great fashion splash, Jabong.com the top fashion site in the country launched the Tom Tailor Women and Tom Tailor Men collections at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015.

Setting the mood of the show was popular singer; Monica Dogra who rocked the ramp with some swinging numbers and looked stylish in a Tom Tailor Women leather jacket, skinny jeans and a net top. What followed was a fast paced well edited show of stylish outfits.
TOM TAILOR WOMENS’ WEAR
Presenting three ranges, the brand had a fun filled print story that recreated the hues of Hawaii and the Caribbean with a colour story of dirty yellow, rose and pastels. It was a look that women would love to sport during the steamy summer months.
World Traveller
For the “Tom Tailor Women” it was navy hues of paisleys for shirts and comfy overalls. Feminine flirty blouses were showcased with denims or casual fluid tops with loose but tapered pants. Long sleeve pullovers in assorted colours, red jacket with jeans and sheer printed blouse, asymmetric top and black ribbed top were stylish offerings of ready-to- wear.
Big City Girl
For some semi-formal options that could start with brunch and end with an evening at the cocktail lounge; the brand had flowing materials in easy silhouettes. The Oshape dress looked stylish in dirty yellow or cyan blue. Summer trench coats, which are hot on the fashion charts, were a stylish choice; while the minimalistic tile design seemed a favourite for the collection. Mini with one button jacket, knit dress with a black print, black ribbed top and blousoned blouse were perfect for an evening of partying.
University of Oahu
Here it was the geometrics of fashion and the futurist forms that were prominent in silky fluid shapes and cool summer pastels. Soft covers were worn with skinny jeans, printed peplum jacket was teamed with a ribbed skirt and a flared mini skirt looked great with a cute printed blouse.

Working around some great icy colours, which were contrasted with soft sand and natural hues; the two men’s wear ranges had all the trendy fashion directions.
Road to Nowhere
Since it’s travel time during summer, Tom Tailor created a line of mix and match stories. New placement print techniques came in the form of exotic fruits, blossom, leaves or abstract minimals. Interesting washes on shirts, T-shirts and denim Bermudas were on the list along with denim shirts and jackets in washes that had blotched prints with white, besides the conventional indigo shade. Printed Tees looked great with slim trousers while the denim shirts, 2-button jackets and jeans were ideal casual fare.
Machos and Mojitos
Dance your summer away to the Caribbean beat with colours being the focal point. Washes in vintage, acid and over dyes in light colours were part of the collection that also included bleach and tie/dye treatment. From slim fit Bermudas, tailored shirts, to deep “V” necks, combined with pants and white Bermudas; it was a lean slim silhouette for the stronger sex that the brand advocated. Pullovers were ideal when worn with fresh fun shirts.
Giving a formal look for the men were the leather zippered blousons, stylish semi-formal jackets and the return of the bow tie with colourful checked or striped shirts.
Ending the men’s section was the very dashing and handsome Aditya Roy Kapur who looked dapper in a leather blouson, blue printed shirt and denim jeans.
