Jacqueline Fernandez was in for a pleasant surprise today when a Delhi court granted her the bail in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case. The court had reserved its order till Tuesday, 15th November and had secured her from being arrested till then. Acting on the same today, Jacqueline was finally granted bail by Additional Sessions Judge Shailender Malik on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and one surety of a similar amount. She was involved with alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar in a money laundering case being probed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), and was said to have enjoyed luxurious gifts by him from the same money. Jacqueline’s lawyer had earlier argued that she has been cooperating with the investigation and fleeing from the country or tampering with evidences was out of question, hence she be granted bail.
