Kangana Ranaut is doing her bit for not just Bollywood, but also for the South Indian film industry. The actress was working on her upcoming film ‘Thalaivi’, just when the order to shut everything down was passed by the government. This halted all shoots, current and scheduled, until further notice. Taking the losses and hardships faced by the daily wage workers into account, Kangana has contributed Rs 10 lakh in two sets. Rs 5 lakh will go towards the Film Employees Federation of South India whereas another 5 lakh will take care of the daily wage earners working on ‘Thalaivi’. The biopic is based on Tamil Nadu’s former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and is directed by Vijay. The flick will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
