Kangana Ranaut has moved the Bombay High Court to quash a First Information Report (FIR) against her and her sister Rangoli Chandel. The Mumbai Police had registered an FIR against the two for “objectionable comments” on social media. They had also summoned the sisters on various occasions, on October 26th and 27th and again on November 9th and 10th. Though Kangana and Rangoli failed to appear before the police. In a reply filed through her lawyer, Kangana has stated that since the entire family is busy with her brother’s marriage, they will not be able to appear before November 15th. Now that Kangana and Rangoli may travel to Mumbai anytime, the sisters want the FIR to be withdrawn through court before they mark their presence in front of the cops. However, the Bombay High Court has asked them to appear before police on January 8th.
