Last week, actress Mallika Sherawat was assaulted by 3 masked attackers in rue de la Faisanderie, an upscale neighborhood where Cyrille Auxenfans, Sherawat’s boyfriend, lives. The couple were returning home on Friday evening when the attack took place in the hallway of Auxenfan’s apartment.
According to a source close to Sherawat, ‘they sprayed them with tear gas and pushed her to the ground and started hitting her boyfriend. One of them tried to grab her bag, but she pushed them away and started yelling and screaming. After a bit of a struggle they ran away.”
The men fled after the attack, and the motive is still unknown. It is noteworthy to mention that this attack occurred just six weeks after reality TV star Kim Kardashian West was tied up and robbed of $10 million worth of jewelry in the French capital. Authorities are still investigating so, as of now, it is unknown whether there is a link between the Kardashian West and Sherawat incidents.
