The National Film Awards have been announced after a little delay due to the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 this year in India. While there are some surprises in the 66th National Film Awards, some deserve to get applauded for their finest piece of art. In the form of Best Hindi Film, Bollywood’s ‘Andhadhun’ received the top honor while Ayushmann Khurrana bagged the Best Actor Award for the same flick. The actor shared this award with Vicky Kaushal for ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. Till the time this was being written, magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’ received as many as three awards, in the form of Best Male Playback Singer to Arijit Singh for ‘Binte Dil’, Best Music Direction to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who was also the director of the film and Best Choreography for its number ‘Ghoomar’.
