Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has not had a tryst with the law till date, has now been caught in controversy with a case of physical assault being registered against him. The actor visited the Versova police station yesterday, along with this lawyer, to clear his stand. Nawaz says, “The police had not called us, but being a responsible citizen I have come to give a statement that all these allegations are false.” A lady has filed an FIR against Nawaz, stating that the actor pushed her. “There is a person named Heena Shaikh who has put the allegation on me. I don’t know who she is, or even whether she stays in the society or not. I believe that all the people from the society are with us and want this wrong allegations put on us to be removed,” adds Nawaz.
