Aamir Khan and Amtiabh Bachchan’s star power along with the festive date of Diwali has done little for the box office numbers of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. The film has been on a decline at the ticket windows after a weekend collection of Rs 119 crore. The film made Rs 5.50 crore on Monday and another Rs 4.35 crore on Tuesday. Despite a total collection of Rs 128.85 crore, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ has failed to emerge as the massive blockbuster as was being anticipated. Made on an estimated budget of close to Rs 300 crore, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ released amidst much fanfare but failed to live up to the audience’s expectations.
