Ever since the trailer of ‘OMG 2’ was released, there has been massive speculation about the narrative featuring homophobia. There was buzz about the movie being recommended by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to the revising committee and CBFC Chairperson Prasoon Joshi personally watching the movie to avoid a repeat of ‘Adipurush’ backlash. While the entire team of ‘OMG 2’ has remained tight-lipped, lead actor Pankaj Tripathi broke his silence over the controversy. He told a news portal that people are speculating a lot about the film, but the truth will be out when the film releases. Akshay Kumar essays the lead role of Lord Shiva in this movie, while Yami Gautam will be seen playing the role of a lawyer. ‘OMG 2’ is scheduled to hit the screens on August 11th.
