Amitabh Bachchan, essaying the role of Ashwatthama, ominously informs Padukone’s character of the divine entity growing within her womb. How will the king ensnare the bearer of his sworn enemy? Announcing the trailer release, Prabhas declared, “The future unveiled… ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ trailer is here! See you in theaters on June 27th, 2024.” Echoing the sentiment, Amitabh Bachchan proclaimed, “Yes, indeed, the battle begins now.” Keep an eye out for Kamal Haasan, sporting a transformative guise in the trailer’s closing moments. Disha Patani also assumes a pivotal role in the film. Notably, this project marks the maiden collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, while the actress and Amitabh Bachchan previously shared screen space in the acclaimed 2015 drama ‘Piku’.
