Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated ‘Pushpa 2 – The Rule’ is poised to make a massive impact when it premieres in theatres on December 5th, with early sales already signalling a strong showing. The film has racked up over $7,33,000 (Rs 6.18 crore) in advance ticket sales across more than 800 locations in the United States setting the stage for another milestone in the growing popularity of Telugu cinema in North America. Having sold over 26,000 tickets so far, the sequel to ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is aiming to surpass the current record for the highest-grossing Indian film premiere of 2024, currently held by Prabhas’ ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ with $3.9 million. The all-time premiere record still belongs to ‘Baahubali 2’, which grossed $4.3 million on its opening day. As ‘Pushpa 2’ gears up for its release, it also faces competition from Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhaava’, which is set to release just a day after. Starring a dynamic cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj, ‘Pushpa 2’ is primed to take the box office by storm, but its ability to outshine previous records will be an exciting watch for fans and critics alike.
