A movie inspired from criminals is an evergreen trend in B-Town. Right from recent Bollywood flick ‘Main Aur Charles’ to ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai’ and Anurag Kashyap’s next, ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, there are many made on the similar lines. The director states that his movie is not about glorifying the criminal. Anurag says, “Our country is such that everything is glorified. ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ is not to glorify anyone. It is a fictionalized thriller on what is happening in our country today. There are a lot of things which happen around us, but we ignore them.” ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ is loosely based on the serial killer Raman Raghav, who operated in Mumbai. The title role is played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
