Directing duo Abbas and Mustan Burmawalla are all set to remake hit Korean survival drama ‘The Tunnel’, which released in 2016. The filmmakers will explore the thriller and suspense genre with this project which is about a father on his way to his daughter’s birthday, when a tunnel collapses and a thrilling rescue operation is initiated. Abbas-Mustan are yet to announce the cast for the film. Apparently, the directors are considering an A-list actor in the lead. As it happens with most Bollywood movies, ‘The Tunnel’ will be tweaked according to Indian sensibilities and is scheduled to go on the floors in December.
