Actress Rhea Chakraborty who was rumored to be romantically involved with Sushant Singh Rajput prior to his death, finally spoke up on social media. First she shared candid pictures of the two with this caption “Still struggling to face my emotions.. an irreparable numbness in my heart. You are the one who made me believe in love, the power of it…”.
She followed it up with another post where she openly admitted to being Sushant’s girlfriend and requested authorities to initiate an inquiry into his death case. “Respected Amitshahofficial sir, I’m Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, it is no over a month since his sudden demise. I have complete faith in the government, hover in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter. I only want to understand what prompted Sushant to take this step.” wrote Rhea. This didn’t go down well with Sushant’s fans and all those seeking #justiceforsushant. Rhea was trolled on social media for coming across fake and speaking up too late.
One furious fan even threatened to get the actress raped and murdered. Rhea didn’t take this lightly and posted a screenshot of her message with the caption “I was called a gold digger…I kept quiet. I was called a murderer…I kept quiet. I was slut shamed…I kept quiet. But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide? DO you realize the seriousness of what you have said? These are crimes, and by law no one, I repeat NO ONE should be subjected to this kind of toxicity and harassment. I request Cybercrime India to please take necessary action. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”.
