Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut ‘Liger’ witnessed a fall in collection on Monday due in part to the much-awaited India vs Pakistan cricket match. The film added Rs 3.75 crore to its total collection on Sunday, with damages due to cricket adding up to approximated Rs 1.25 crore. The film earned Rs 1.25 crore in previews and opened on Friday with Rs 4.50 crore. At the end of its first weekend, the Hindi box office collection of ‘Liger’ currently stands at approximately Rs 13.75 crore nett. At the end of its four-day weekend, the business of ‘Liger’ in all formats across India is yet to cross Rs 50 crore. Helmed by Puri Jagannadh, ‘Liger’ features Vijay and Ananya Panday in lead roles. It is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
