Salman Khan has trimmed his upcoming release ‘Bharat’ by as long as 25 minutes, reportedly on a suggestion by his father Salim Khan! The veteran Bollywood writer watched the period saga at a special screening hosted for the Khan family and suggested that the run time of ‘Bharat’ must be shortened. From a three-hour long film, ‘Bharat’ got 24 additional cuts and was shortened to 2 hours and 34 minutes. As the film releases on June 5, it will have to fight for viewership as India will play its first ICC World Cup 2019 cricket match against South Africa. Apart from Salman, ‘Bharat’ also features Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles.
