Satish Kaushik who is known for roles in films like ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, ‘Mr. India’ and ‘Baaghi 3’ among many others, left everyone in shock as he passed away at the age of 66. The always smiling Kaushik was known as a multi-talented personality with his forte in writing, direction as well in acting. He was in NCR, Delhi and was travelling to Gurugram in a car for a meeting. He suffered a massive heart attack in the vehicle itself, say reports. He was immediately rushed to the Fortis Hospital where a postmortem was to be conducted before flying him back to Mumbai, where he resided. Apart from immortalising characters like Kishan (‘Woh 7 Din’), Calendar (‘Mr. India’), Banke Bihari Chaturvedi aka BBC (‘Jamai Raja’) and Pappu Pager (‘Deewana Mastana’), Kaushik has directed films like ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’, ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’, ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’ and ‘Kaagaz’. Kaushik leaves behind his wife Shashi Kaushik and daughter Vanshika.
