Bollywood films and TV crews can resume shooting in India with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in place. Union information and broadcasting minister Prakash Javadekar issued the papers in this regard yesterday. Though many shooting units have already begun the work, the government came out with the official guidelines only now. One of the major announcements in the rules is that only those facing the camera will be exempt from wearing the mask while the shoot is on. It’s mandatory for the rest of the cast and crew to wear face coverings at all times. Government’s Aarogya Setu app to track and trace the infected people is also recommended. Thermal screening and physical distancing is encouraged too. All shoots were put on hold since March 25th, with some resuming work only this month.
