Central Board of Film Certification aka Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani has always been at the center of controversy. He has now alleged that several filmmakers from the industry tried to bribe him to have their films passed more easily. Pahlaj Nihalani says, “People never leave their habits. They want to get away with the work, by hook or by crook. Somebody offered me as well. But nobody is at fault. People are habitual and no one is corrupt in this industry. They don’t mind to pay extra money, as delay will cause them losses.” Not revealing any names, Pahlaj Nihalani further adds that the CBFC today is completely corruption free.
