Sonu Nigam kept his date with the media as he shaved his head and made an appearance, fulfilling one of the demands of a Muslim cleric who reacted against his tweets on Azaan. The popular singer had invited Hakim Aalim over to shave his hair after a Muslim leader Syed Sha Atef Ali Al Quaderi issued an alleged fatwa against him challenging anybody who could shave Sonu’s head. Reacting to the controversy, Sonu said, “I am a person who has considered Mohd Rafi as his father and whose guru is Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. It is not my problem if you treat me as anti-Muslim, it is yours.”
