Kangana Ranaut’s fighter story ‘Tejas’ is expected to land during the festive time of Dussehra next year. Filmmakers today revealed that it will hit theatres in 2022, “Bringing to you the inspiring story of a woman who chose to rule the skies. An ode to the Indian Air Force, ‘Tejas’, releasing in a cinema near you on Dussehra, 5th October 2022.” The film talks about a woman fighter pilot, played by Kangana, and is directed by Sarvesh Mewara. It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies, which had earlier backed the super-duper hit ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. Needless to say, audience expectations from ‘Tejas’ are running high. The makers label it as an ode to the Indian Air Force which became the country’s first defence establishment to induct women in combat roles.
