Terence Lewis, one of the most successful choreographers in India, recently added the surprise element to Nisha Rawal’s cover of ‘Choti Si Asha’, one of Rehman’s most soulful compositions, the video of which was released recently on the occasion of Children’s Day as a part of a fundraising activity at Vatsala Foundation.
Despite of being so busy with house-full shows of ‘Disney’s: Beauty & The Beast’ (India’s first musical, choreographed by Terence) running back to back, Terence still took time off his hectic schedule and lent unconditional support to Nisha and the noble cause.
Talking about his appearance, Terence said, ‘When Nisha asked me if I would like to be part of the video, I immediately agreed not only because the concept was very good and Nisha & Karan are my very dear friends… But also because the video was going to release on Children’s Day and I felt that it was very important for me to do something special for the children on this day. You see, when I was a child, we weren’t very well off so I clearly remember how much value these little things held. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of shooting with Nisha and the kids from Vatsalya Foundation. I think what Nisha is doing is commendable and I can see her putting in a very sincere effort in both, helping the foundation as well as her singing.’
Terence’s appearance in the song was certainly a pleasant surprise for the audience and fans were delighted to watch him truly enjoying dancing in the video with the unprivileged kids from the Foundation. He seems to have cracked an instant chemistry with the children and appears extremely natural on screen. Check out the song here:
