Kangana Ranaut and her forthcoming film ‘Thalaivi’ have been in the news for a long time. While Kangana’s bold avatar in real life is making plenty of noise, ‘Thalaivi’ is talk of the town because of it being a biopic on the famous Indian politician, J. Jayalalithaa. We had recently informed our readers how the makers of the film were contemplating postponing the film due to the second wave of coronavirus sweeping the country. Though the plan was still in the early stage, the same has come out to be true. The makers have postponed the release date of ‘Thalaivi’, “We are extremely grateful for the tremendous response and unconditional love you’ve shown for ‘Thalaivi’ trailer. Since the film has been made in multiple languages, we would like to release it in all languages on the same day. But with an alarming rise in Covid-19 cases, we want to extend all the support towards the government rules and regulations and have decided to postpone release of ‘Thalaivi’.” With that said, the team also claims that the film was ready to release on April 23rd if the new restrictions had not been imposed.
