Kalank’ trailer is full of magnificent sets, heart-wrenching dialogues and classic cinematography, and it culminated with Varun Dhawan running behind a train while Alia Bhatt gives him a hand to pull him onboard. The scene also features Aditya Roy Kapur, who has held Alia’s other hand, pulling her from danger’s path. While it seems like a recreation of Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol’s iconic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (‘DDLJ’) scene, Varun denies any similarities, “It is not inspired from ‘DDLJ’. There are many twists and turns in the story that we want you’ll to enjoy. There are a lot of things that have not been revealed yet.” Directed by Abhishek Varman, this period saga is scheduled to hit the screens on April 17.
