URI: The Surgical Strike trailer has been loved by fans all over the world. With only 8 days to go to the release, Vicky Kaushal shared a new poster from the film which is set to bring out true patriotism in audiences with the slogan ‘Yeh Naya Hindustan Hai Yeh Ghar Mein Ghussega Bhi Aur Maarega Bhi’
The action-drama is based on the 2016 surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army in retaliation to an alleged terror attack in the Kashmir region of Uri. The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.
Vicky Kaushal gained weight for the role and underwent extensive military training for five months. Training for five hours a day, Kaushal’s rigorous regime included three to four hours of military training to enhance the stamina, as well as gun training at the naval base in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. Yami Gautam also underwent mixed martial arts training for her role.
Vicky Kaushal shared the new poster on his Twitter account yesterday. The film is all set to release on January 11, 2019.
